I truly think I am one of the most blessed people in the world, because I actually get to do what I love for a living! Whenever I was a kid growing up in the beautiful East Texas Piney Woods, I would spend hours designing floorplans and begging my Dad to just "build this house" so I can see what it looks like! I know that sounds kind of strange for a kid to draw floorplans, but I wanted to be an architect or builder whenever I grew up. Little did I know or realize at the time, that so much more than just "building a house" goes into the overall plan of actually seeing dreams like that come to fruition.
After nineteen years of being a full time realtor and working with literally hundreds of buyers and sellers, I understand that most everyone has a dream of either buying a home or selling one. My job in the process is to help make that dream come true. So, I guess you could say that, in a round about way, my dream of being an architect to design homes and being a builder to build them has come true. I get to help folks "design" their perfect outcome of buying or selling a property, and I get to help them begin to build new memories.
